Hey Everyone we just wanted to let you all know that there have been some modifications to our website. Myspace has been nice enough to allow people who don't have myspace accounts the access to our photos. We have updated the links on our photos page and you will all be able to see the pictures from our website.
Also we would like to thank Dallas, TX for the warm receiving TSB got. There were Tejanos from everywhere, it was truly awesome. To all of our new friends especially our Chat Room friends: TDK, Xap, and a few more of you, it was nice meeting you all. Tejano Sound Band would like to thank our Management: Mark Garcia for all that he has done for Tejano Sound as well as Tejano in the Midwest. We would also like to thank everyone from the Convention especially David and Sarah Chavez and Mr. Ricardo Hernandez. They are the people who are responsible for the event.
TSB is also working on a few new things that will be executed in the coming weeks. We would also like to thank Andy Pizana for his help. Jammin' with you was a pleasure, Andy! Thanks for your help.
The rest of you, we can wait to see you again, we will be off this week to recuperate from the Trip but next week, its on!

Hey everyone sorry for the lack of updates on the website. So here is what you've missed. TSB went on mini tour to Illinois, we would like to thank the NITCS for the great time in Aurora as well as everyone in Hoopeston. Tejano Sound Band held the #1 Spot on Bnet radio Tejano for 4 weeks in a row. Tejano Sound Band is also going to be in Dallas, Texas for the BIGGEST Tejano party in the world, the 5th annual National Tejano Convention. Tejano Sound Band will be performing as well as have a booth for merchandise selling and meet-n-greet with all for the TSB friends, followers, and listeners. We have moved our pictures to our myspace so those of you who want to see pictures, log on. Those of you who don't have a myspace, its easy to get one and its free. we recommend it to everyone. It's a great networking tool and we have had great success on myspace. We know that it will be to your satisfaction. In the mean while we will try to update the site pictures and try to interlink them with the myspace. Thanks for reading and we hope to see yall real soon. Wow, sorry for the late update but we want to let all of you know that we really thank you for the response to our CD. We will be posting videos and pictures this week of the past month and our recent CD release parties in Sylvania and Lansing. But now we have a special treat for you all... here are some kind words directly coming from Johnny Vasquez...
First of all I would like to thank (God) for watching over us, my family and my Tejano Sound Band Members, and of course, our fans and all of you who made it to the CD release party Friday night and showing your support for Tejano Sound Band. The many of you who came from miles away and all of you who bought our new CD and even some Tejano Sound Band t-shirts and wanted our autographs on our posters . To all my Musician Brothers (our) friends who were there to show some support gracias!!
It is very hard to explain the feeling that I got and seeing the response that we had Friday night; very good turn out considering the weather and all. It was well worth every minute for the work we did on this new CD And I personally would like to thank, Lupe Moreno for the miles he drove every week getting out of work straight to my house and for the hours we spent here working on our project even driving to Mt. Pleasant to lay downs some vocal tracts. Well Lupe we have reached our goal that you and I have always talked about, and we are not stopping now!!
Rolando Revilla I'll do my best because I don't have enough space on this sheet. Let me start by saying this, Many people don’t know the musical talent you have. I’ve been in this music for most of my life, and let me tell you for your age, wow !! I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart, you made it happen for Richard and Fide and Myself who been here since we started Tejano Sound Band, for your countless hours of mixing and for all your encouragement to all the guys, and getting everyone on the same page. Never in my life I thought I would record again, but guess what we did it!! Are you ready for the next one? Hahaha
Fide Hernandez! Man thank you, Fide you stuck with the band, even when we been through some hard times and you know what I am talking about, you have only miss a couple of gigs since we started this band, and I can tell you what gigs they were, for a good reason. You have been such a part of this project, working hard also getting out of work spending time laying down your drum tracks with out any music, wow! Thank You Carnal! And the drums are still hot down stairs to start recording the next one (The recording light is blinking) Action!!
AJ Garcia, you are starting to be a monster on the bass, you come a long way, since you have been with the band, but I just like to thank you too for working so hard on this project and laying down your tracks like a pro, hahaha jk. It was a lot of work right? But it was worth it. Thank you for stepping up to the plate when I really need you. And I know that the animo you have for Tejano music will make you even a better musico yet.. So lets get the ball rolling the bass amp is ready for you downstairs. (Next Song)
Richard Vasquez, Well what can I say about my own brother, we did it, we did it!! Our first CD. Now we know what it take to record a real CD right? Many, many hours, and you and me driving to Mt. Pleasant to lay down some tracks. Richard, you been with me for all this years never saying no to anything that I would suggest. Actually you would give me animo, by saying yeah that’s a good ideal Everything that we need for the band you are there to help me out, your skills on the guitar have improve so much, and the bajo well you are the best to me. And you stuck with me all this years, you better or I will get our older brother after you hahaha. Richard thank you brother, for being there for me and the rest of Tejano Sound Band

Tejano Sound Band would also like to thank Mark Garcia for Joining the Team. As many of you might have heard, Mark is going to be a big part of getting TSB to places TSB has never been before. Mark will be in charge of all out-of-state (Michigan) business along with merchandise information and CD information as well. Mark Garcia has a strong voice in the Tejano Music Industry here in the Midwest and beyond. We appreciate all that Mark has done and we are happy to welcome him to the TSB family, treat him like you treat us.

New Pictures are up on our website and our myspace. We are going to try to keep the picture on both the website and myspace (as suggested by AJ) so people can comment on the new pics. Have fun looking at them and also check out the dates. we will be having CD release parties in a city near you!. Toledo: the day is May 25th at the Centennial Terrace in Sylvania, OH. We will be sharing the stage with Invicto (one of the hottest conjuntos in the land from TX) and the most wanted man Ramiro "Ram" Herrera! Lansing MI: Friday June 6th 2008 is your day @ Sky Lanes a.k.a. Metro Bowl. Doors open at 8:30 and we start at 9:30. Be there early... we might have some specials... but don't quote me on that.
There are a few more things that are happening with Tejano Sound right now but its in the works all we got to say is that we are happy with what is happening and God willing, this is going to be something cool.

Tejano Sound Band is happy to announce that their CD is on schedule and will be released on May 27th.
We also want to thank everyone who has requested our music on Bnet Radio Tejano. As many of you know we were #20 on the top 20 last week and in a week we jumped 6 spots to #14. Thank you for supporting TSB and we hope that you continue to enjoy and request our music.
For those of you who don't listen to Bnet, we are also on AmigosRadio.com, TejanoLive.net, and many others throughout the nation. also request us at your local broadcast radio stations and they should have Tejano Sound Bands music.
We would like to thank Jorge Flores from GSM Discos for distributing our music via a CD with Little Joe, Ruben Ramos & the Mexican Revolution, Stampede, Elio Quintanilla, and many other big-hitters in the Tejano Music Industry. This CD is virtually distributed to every Tejano Radio Stations!!!
There are still a few more surprises along the way too!

Tuesday April, 15 2008 – Tejano Sound Band is Releasing their 1st Full-length Album entitled “Ahora”
Tejano Sound Band is planning on releasing the CD to the public May 27th 2008, however, we will be doing pre-sales at our gigs on the weekend prior to the release date (memorial day weekend). We will be putting up our singles up this week. We would like also to thank all the people lent a hand in making this happen. More information to come soon…

This is a portion of our "BIG SECRET" however, we will reveal the news later this week or early next week we promise, but we have we have a feeling that ya'll might have heard anyway. The Long Awaited Update!!!
Thanks for reading our update first of all. Tejano Sound Band has been hard at work and more than usual. Unfortunately our website took the back seat as well as our myspace. However, Tejano Sound Band is going to announce their BIGGEST SECRET EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE BAND!!! What is it? Well if you all knew then it would be a "secret" (hahaha). TSB will formally announce the "secret" sometime in late April-early May-ish. Lets just say that you are in for a treat and we hope you all will enjoy the secret as much as we have.

So its been a while since we put up some new pictures... so now you have almost 100 pictures to look at. We have pictures but it is hard to find the time to put them up. So, late last night the site got the update. Happy new year. We would like to thank the sold-out attendance at the Flip Side @ Sky Lanes (Metro Bowl). We had alot of fun and surprisingly that was the first time that TSB (in all of our years together) has played in Lansing (our hometown) for new years. It was nice despite the weather.
Christmas was nice to some of the musicians as some of us got new toys.... right Johnny, Fide, Lupe, and Rolando?
I guess they were the good boys this year, just kidding
We also want to thank Ernesto Ortiz for helping us out for the weekend.

We would like to let you know Tejano Sound will be making their big return New Year’s Eve to Lansing so TSB will be in town for those of you who want to ring in the new year Tejano Style. We will be partying all night long and we hope you guys will be ready.
Also Tejano Sound Band will be off for the majority of January to finish some recording for the up and coming CD.

Hey all you Tejano Sound Band Followers! ¿Como Estan? Good we hope. So how are the kids? Really? WOW! its been a while. Anyway... we have been B-U-S-Y playing and playing some more, but lets recap some of the events that kind of stuck out. Lets see... we were going to play at the Phoenix Plaza in Pontiac but then we heard sirens as we were getting off the bus and there was little Dorothy and Toto getting ready to head for shelter so we did the same. For those of you that didn't get the joke, we were in a Tornado Warning (and thats no joke, bub!) Luckily, no one was hurt and we partied at La Loma! It was all good. A special thanks to Grupo Ilusion for hooking us and the rest of the bands up with their sound system at the last minute.
Besides that... private parties... Keep checking our tour dates to see when TSB will be jammin at a local party near you! New Pictures will be up soon... we have updated all of our Top Friends on Myspace. So for those local bands who have a Myspace and aren't on our top friends, we either don't have you on our friend list or we might have overlooked you (sorry). Either way, send us an email and we will gladly put you on! We like supporting all the local bands as much as we can, because that's what its all about!

Hello everybody as you can tell our website has a new look... and for you Myspacers check out our website... www.tejanosoundband.net and maybe a new look to the myspace!!!! We have 3 songs up on our media page as well as our myspace from our up and coming CD! The 1st track is a traditional Conjunto style song called "Gorrioncillo Pecho Amarillo" (a remake of a standard by Clemente Bermea) arranged by Johnny Vasquez and Tejano Sound Band. The 2nd Track is a Cumbia written by Lupe Moreno and arranged by Rolando Revilla entitled "Que Bonito Es." Lastly, track 3 is a Ranchera written and arranged by Rolando Revilla entitled "Tu Eres." We hope you enjoy the sample for now, expect more and newer things to come, pictures, songs, jokes, well just kidding about the jokes! have a good weekend and bundle up because its cold out there. Buenos Dias everybody.
Congrats to Ricky and Selina.
They had a great wedding and we wish them many happy years together.
Lots of good news, we've been in the studio, new songs on myspace, more bookings, new songs, new bus... we also like to thank everyone who voted on tejanomagazine.net! We were nominated and now we are in the Semi-Final so we will see how the next round goes. Next week will be Rolando's Birthday, but unfortunately we won't be playing due to cancellation. However will be back next week the 9th at Player's Club. Tejano Sound Band is still unsure as to what will be going on for New Years, but we hope to have something lined up for that day. Hello everyone, this is Lupe, taking over the controls for Mambo who has been tremendously busy. So, I'm going to update y'all on the latest happenings with TSB! We had a great time in Bascom, Ohio performing for the AMISTAD organization at the beautiful Meadowbrook ballroom. This particular organization raises money for scholarships for Latino students and it was an honor for us to help out. Thanks to Roberto Valle (I hope I spelled that correctly) for his hospitality. A special thanks to Freddy G for his role in getting TSB to Bascom. We would also like to thank Eddie Galan for inviting us out to perform at the first annual Latino festival in Fostoria, Ohio.
Up and coming for TSB is a few private parties as well as some public events. Check the tour dates to see when we'll be in your area. Tejano Sound is preparing to go into the studio where we'll be recording three songs that will be on our up and coming CD.

Hey guys sorry its been so long since we updated. Today Tejano Sound Band would like to send out our prayers to our nation as it recognizes the 5th anniversary of the tragedy that struck our nation.
We would also like to apologize to everyone in Grand Rapids who were expecting to hear us play on Friday, apparently mother nature didn't want us to play... hahaha. We hope to be in GR some other time (when its not raining, JK)
Saturday was an interesting day for the band. We got to jam with our old buddies Martin and Mark who were playing with Eddie Gonzalez. The people of Holland Michigan were a blast, too bad it was cold :-) soon after TSB walked off the stage we got a last minute call from Club la Vista in Toledo, in need for a band. The band took the gig so for those of you who went to Club la Vista and didn't expect to hear us... SURPRISE!
Also a shout out to the guys from Dezeo out there checking us out. Also to the Ramos Family, Rudy and Connie Flores and all the regulars at Club la Vista. And last but not least to J.J. Jimenez and Bobby Dennis for being our roadies for the night and making our night easier, Mario (still) Ramos for the support, and that one lady who kept asking for us to play a Selena song! (We had no idea who that was)
Sunday Tejano Sound Band celebrated their (count them...) 12 years (oh wow) we have seen good times and we have seen bad but more good than bad so that s always good right? Anyway, Congrats to the original members that have been their from the beginning; Johnny Vasquez, Richard Vasquez and Fidencio "Fide" Hernandez. Congrats boys! And to acknowledge the rest of the band who have put in their time in the current band: Lupe Moreno, Rolando Revilla, and Ernesto Ortiz!

Hello Tejano Sound Band Followers, Both Myspace and Website alike! Sorry that its taken us so long to update we have been busy as you can see by our Tour Dates. On July 1st we had a great time with the Revilla/Anzaldua Families as they celebrated Cecilia's and Andrea's Graduation... Congrats girls! IT WAS A BLAST. Also a shout out to the "gringos that played Tejano" Josh and Austin. Also to Erik Ramos and Jose Anzaldua, thanks for jammin'! also to all the families from out of town (Toledo, Grand Rapids, Holland, Edinburg TX, and from all over who came to the party)
On July 4th we had a great time in Mt Pleasant home of our very own Rolando Revilla! Frank and Julie Vasquez really know how to through a party!
Players Club in Bridgeport/Saginaw Michigan was hoppin'! we had a good time with a great crowd and we would like to give thanks to everyone that was there: to the Cabello Family who was there celebrating birthdays, to the guys from La Corporacion, to Henry and Rebecca, and the rest of the lovely people of that part of the state. thanks for supporting us again!...

Beloved Tejano Sound Band friends and fans, we know its been a while but we have been busy and we have been having trouble with our main internet connection so we have been slow to up date the site and out myspace. However a bit of good news; as of last week Tejano Sound Band is pleased to announce that we have a new permanent bass player. TSB is happy to have Ernesto Ortiz AKA "Ernie" in to our band family. Ernie is experienced, comes from a musical family, and has played with many bands in the past. Also look at our schedule under tour dates we have new dates, come changed, and some cancelled. We are also trying to eventually get our dates on myspace but, because there are many, it would be very time consuming. Hey TSB Fans... we know its been a while since we updated the news portion of the site and our Myspace. Some of you might have heard already that Jesse Herrera is no longer playing with Tejano Sound Band, We would like to thank Jesse for all of his years of dedication to TSB on Bass and Keyboards. We would also like to thank George Guerrero from Grupo Sencacion for lending us a helping pair of hands.
There will be some changes to the site, updates on our schedule, and new stuff myspace (hopefully). soon if you see a day open that you would like to book TSB call soon because they are going like hot cakes. Tejano Sound Band will still be kickin' regardless of what people might be saying.

We have had some fun this weekend. Thanks to all the people who came out on Friday. On Easter Sunday we had the privilege to work with La Corporacion de Lansing Michigan. Would also like to thank Mr. Kookie Hernandez for his help with the sound, and playing keyboards with us for the last set. Also a thanks to Arturo Lopez for letting us use his bass gear! it was nice to see all of you out there! shout outs to Edelina, Jenny, Josh, Jessica, to all the Vasquez, to Frank Medilin and Co., to Rene, Amanda and the rest of the staff at Club Remedy!

Well what a weekend!!! The Player's club, like always, was the happenin' place in the Saginaw/Bridgeport area! There were several regular friends that came out to see us... big C and lil' C and all the Cabellos in the house. Also to Tom and Kathy, to Maria Gonzalez who was celebrating a birthday, Martha and her party, to Joe and Franie celebrating an anniversary, other birthday shout outs to Chico and Bianca who decided to party it up "Tejano Sound Band" style. To Bochi and Gloria, thanks for stoppin by!
Then on Sunday, there was quite a turn out for the Daniel Wills benefit. As some of you might have heard, Mr. Wills was in a bad car accident. We hope that the benefit was helpful to his family. Among the bands that played were TSB, the ever so funny guys from Sensacion (Del Norte, j/k), Jimmy Peña and his electrifying Grupo Elektricidad, Albert Amador and sweet sounds of Latin Soul.
A few last comments... something within our picture production has been misplaced or stolen or something... so... pictures will be a bit slow but we hope to take care of that pretty soon. In the meanwhile, if any of you guys have pictures of the band from recent events please send them to pogus49455@hotmail.com make sure the subject of the email is "TSB Pictures" and if you can please include the name of the even and the date... we will be sure to mention a few words of thanks on our website for pictures submitted unless you wouldnt want that to happen...

Yeah, we know... its been a while. We've been really busy lately... it looks like we are going to be more busy if you look at our tour dates. Our apologies also to those who have made friend requests on Myspace.com you have been approved and we hope to get back on our feel. Many of you haven't had a chance to listen to us because we have been playing a lot of functions such as benefits and private parties (on of which was a 75th birthday!) however this past Friday we saw plenty of familiar faces at club Remedy!, its nice to be back there. Some people were talking about memories of the place being named the "Cactus Juice" and the "Red Rail"! Whatever you called it, its nice to see that there is yet another place for "us" to go and have a good time and listen to some good music. Also check out Club Remedy's Myspace Profile. I have a feeling that Myspace is going to take over the world... hahaha jk

We would like to thank everyone who came out to the beautiful party put on by la familia Banda for Mercedes who just had a wonderful 15era! We have some pictures up from that night. Well muchachos y muchachas... we are all back from our respective vacations. We hope to be back to full once again. Also a big thank you too all the people that went to go see us play at the Players Club (fmr. Fiesta's Cantina) it was a good time as usual and we hope that you come out to hear us again. Yeah... so webshots.com is cool until you reach the limit of pictures, and you know how much Tejano Sound likes to take pictures... they don't always get up there quickly but they make it on the site never the less. so all the pictures from now on will be on the site and you don't have to access an external site any longer
In other news... Come and Check us out at the place formerly known as Fiesta's Cantina!!! I think the new name is Players Club or Sportsman's something or other... we will get the name straightened out. however, same place same people, different name? I don't know to be honest with you...
Any who, it will be an interesting night. As some of you know, Johnny Vasquez and Jesse Herrera are having dandy times on their respective vacations. Jesse Herrera is scheduled to be back in time for the show, however, Johnny wont! And since TSB is always ready to deliver, we will be performing as scheduled without Johnny. Filling in for Johnny will be Rolando Revilla who will be pulling double duty on keyboards and accordion. Regardless... it will be a good time and Johnny will be back for the next show. The funny thing is, right after the show Rolando will be leaving for Vacation... but will be back in time for the next show. We should have just gone on Vacation as a band!!!!! (hahaha) oh well... maybe next year!

What's up tejanosoundband.net readers, sorry for such a late update. Its been kind of hectic but we are glad to report that this weekend was fun. Tejano Sound Band invaded Toledo's Margarita Rocks. What a nice turn out we saw a ton of our friends... Big Mark, Chuck, Doc, and the rest of the DeZeo Crew. Also M & M Productions, Lady Di, la familia Ramos, la familia Martinez, y tambien la familia Atkinson. Everyone who was involved in the Production end of things especially the people who were the in-house sound technicians who were very helpful. Toledo was a good time.
Pictures will be up hopefully within the next few days... thanks to our very own Lupe Moreno and friend Bianca Ramos for taking pictures of the event, in additions to the one that yours truly has provided. Thanks for the extra pictures you guys.

Well mother nature isn't always fair however... Tejano Sound Band and all the people at Fiesta Cantina made it out there to have a good time, and that we did. We would like to thank everyone who went out there. To T&J (last night's Lansing Crew, you galls be so crazy) to all the super bowl partiers that went out to do some pre super bowl partying Tejano Sound style. Vista was a-hoppin'! Toledo be Crazy! We had so much fun this weekend at Club La Vista. We would like to thank everyone who came out especially... Cori, Nita, Alex, the Doc, Mario, Santiago, Bianca, Grupo Dezeo, the Garica Family, the Ramos Family, the Rodriguez Family, everyone from Adrian, Toledo, Lansing, and everyone else that we didn't mention. It felt so good to see many of our good, good friend. TSB will be back in T-town in a couple of weeks @ Margarita Rocks, so we hope to see you all again, soon!

OK FINALLY Pictures of New Years Eve 2005-2006!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are a lot of other pix that still need to be loaded but the reason we have these is the fact that Pontiac's very own Matt Maya has submitted some pictures from that night. Gracias Matt! We are terribly sorry for the mix up. Tejano Sound was scheduled to play at club impulse however, due to some mix up, the club owner and promoter were not on the same page. So we were just as surprised as some of you going out there expecting to see TSB and no one was there. We are really sorry about all that. TSB would also like to say that we are working with the club about possibly doing some business out there, but that's all up in the air right now!
TSB has updated their dates almost daily this week... see if your event is on there, see if we are open or you event day... or find out where the band is going to be...
We know, We know, We know... you want to see new pictures... those are coming soon. we will have them up as soon as possible. The deal is that TSB has been taking better quality pictures as before but we have been having some issues trying to get the pictures from the new camera so that's the story there. But for sure... We know you are going to like the new pictures because they look really nice...Stay tuned and don't SSSShange that dial! TSB out for now!

Well damas y caballeros, It's a new year and Tejano Sound Band was happy to ring it in with the lovely people of Pontiac Michigan at the La Loma. We had a lot of fun and we thanks all the people that came out from Grand Rapids, Lansing, Flint, Saginaw, other surrounding areas, and (of course) the crazy Mexicans from Pontiac. Y'all know how to party!!! También para toda la gente que cumplió años. Que Dios les de muchos años mas! Happy Birthday! To all the people that didn't make it out to hear TSB... we hope to be busy this coming year so you will have your opportunity to party to the music of TSB.

Thank you all for coming out to Fiesta this weekend. on behalf of myself (Rolando) I would personally like to thank everyone who surprised me with a birthday cake and all the balloons. *blush* it was really cool of you guys and you shouldn't have... especially the trick candles. That's all... messed up!
Sunday we took part in celebrating the graduation of Jose M Herrera III from military school. he was surrounded by loved ones and family. Speaking of his family, a thanks to his dad Joey Herrera Jr. and la Super Corporacion for letting us jam with them. its always fun, although Arturo is terco about Rolando wearing his very stylish hat that Art bought for him, just kidding Art. Also to the very talented Jenny Albarez for singing with us once again. But most of all Johnny Vasquez and the rest of Tejano Sound Band is proud of lil' Joey and we congratulate him for his academic success (4 A's) and being a role-model for his younger siblings. Keep it up!

We are sorry to inform you that TSB will not be playing on saturday the 17th of December. Tejano Sound Band was originally scheduled to play this coming Saturday at The Metro Bowl for a free dance with, none other than, La Corporacion and a few others for a free dance. None of the originally scheduled bands will be performing at this event. Sorry about the mix up and we hope to see you at the next dance!

Boy did we have a long weekend but it was fun! To all the people who where at Frank's retirement, we hope you had fun. Also a quick shot out and thank you for the other bands that played, Generasiones, Montu, and La Corporacion. Tambien para la famila Costilla, nice meeting you all.

The reason we are making the site bilingual is because we are Mexican- Americans, and if you can speak both languages, more power to ya, however if you can only read one language you are able to choose whichever you feel comfortable reading!

10/26/05 - Thanks for stopping by. We hope that the site is both entertaining as well as informing. The site has gotten lots of good feedback and we hope that it keeps coming. Also, as you can tell, as of today there has been some changes to the site since its establishment on 10/22/05. Also make sure to check in to this page to see what's going on with TSB and where we will be. This website is just one of many big plans for TSB. Recording? We are definitely working on trying to get the band into the studio some time within the next year and releasing a short album of singles to be put on our full length to come hopefully in the following year...baby steps baby steps...
